About This Chapter
Back at the hotel, Paul tries to find out what's going on. He's got a bunch of papers to prove it, but he doesn't have any money to pay for them. He asks if he can get some protection for himself and his family if he's arrested for trying to kill someone with an expired driver's license. Paul says he'll have to find a job, but it's not like he can't do a good job for his clients. He tells Paul that he was thinking about him before he called. He says that his son-in-law, who's a politician, just met with a lot of opposition on Capitol Hill, so he needs an agent to help him out. Paul tells him that he has a client right up his alley, and that's why they're talking. They're going to check into a hotel, and then they'll go check out the last saloon in town.
