About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Barbarella wants to return to the city of Sogo, but he still has one card left over from the circus, which he plans to use to refine his magic substance. He tells the archivore that the galaxy is stuck on a certain point in time, and that he'll have to wait a week before he can talk to him. He also warns him that the ship will take off in a quarter-hour, so he's going to have to stay put for a while. He's also worried about his children, who are forbidden to use guns in the city, and he doesn't know about the "tric-trac transfer" that's supposed to take place between the ship and the city. He wants to know what's up with the transfer, and wonders why the ship hasn't landed yet. He asks if the men in the ship have lungs, and the men reply that they don't. He suggests that they bring him a divesuit, so they can talk in a more civilized way. The men agree to go back to Sogo.
