As the scene opens, we are introduced to Chingyan and his friend, Tingyun, who have just returned from the theater. Chingyan tells Tingyun that he is sorry that Chingyan picked him up and that he recognized Chingyan as the man who helped them find the culprit. Chingiyan tells Chingyan that he has come to show support for the show, and Chingyan invites Chingyan to join them at a nearby cafe. When Chingyan asks where he can find Chingyan, Chingyan replies that he will be at the cafe.
