In the cafeteria, the two guys actually apologize for what they've done. The narrator is shocked that the cops didn't find the guy, but he's hopeful that they'll catch him soon. He gives the guys some money to pay for the apology, and the two of them agree to delete all of their posts. They also transfer the money back to the narrator, who explains that he gave them the money because he doesn't want anyone to keep circulating the rumor that he stole the laptop. He's not worried about the money, though, because it's his money anyway.
