The girls are in a dorm room, and one of the girls tells the other girls that she is pining for them. The other girls are shocked, and the narrator tells us that the girls have been pining since they were little girls. The narrator tells the girls that they can use the shared bathroom in the women's dorm, which is adjacent to the girls' dorm. He tells them to go ahead and do whatever they want with the bathroom, but he warns them not to look down on the girls and not to compete with them on even footing
