Absolute Vision

Back in the beginning of the novel, the shop owner, Mr. Dong, explains that he wants unity in his shop to be an "earnest business" . He asks Mr. Wu why he wants to help him, and he says that he thinks he is trustworthy, credible, and capable. On the other hand, he says, he is a friend of Mr. Ling's, which means that he also has a friend with the Dong family. Mr. shang warns him to be on his guard with the dongs, because they hold so much power, and they can make someone disappear from Hengcheng without any trace. The dong family has been treating Mr. Shang with kindness, Shang says, probably to keep him away from ling. When Mr. evil asks what is going on, brother Qin tells him that he is going to compete in a rap contest, and if he makes it to the final, he will have to come to cheer him on.
