Absolute Vision

The narrator asks the young man why he keeps looking at him like that. The young man replies that he is alright and that he does not have to comfort him. He tells the narrator how happy he is to be on a cruise and how he feels that the world is too big. He says that the people on board are people he has never met before and that it feels like he is living a new life. The narrator says that he has not felt this peaceful for a long time and that maybe it is time for him to consider why everything is happening. He goes back to the room and tells the young boy that he thinks he is special since he is the first one he has met. He asks if he has slept yet and tells him that he will hide if his brother knows he is there. He then goes on to say that the room is very nice and clean. He also says that it is getting late and that should not bother anyone. He is satisfied with it and asks if there is anything else in the room that he would like to look at.
