In this chapter, the narrator pretends to be Hiroyuki's lover. He asks Hiroyuki not to leave him alone with Anji during her three-day stay at his house. Anji is going to try to pursue him during her stay, and Hiroyuki is sure she will try to get into his body. He tells her to stay with him while he finishes making the bed for Anji in her room. Hiroyuki tells him to peel the potatoes, which makes him want to protest at home. He then asks him to prepare a bath for him in ten minutes. The narrator tells him that he is lying when he says that he and Anji are going to share his room. He says that when he was in school, his father remarried to his mother, and the two of them became brothers and sisters. Now, they are getting divorced, and their parents are getting remarried. He wants to make sure that Hiroyuki isn't going to be the same bed as him as he prepares for his wedding next week.
