Lin is back at the hostel, and he's all excited to see his old friend. He wants to know why he hasn't been attending the language classes, or why he doesn't hang out with his friends anymore. Lin is all, "I'm going to bed right now, and I'll be back in the morning." He's worried that Lin's parents are going to ask him where he hid the book, and that he'll get into trouble for it. Lin says that she's not worried about her parents, because they're good at using her. Lin wants to help the student union organize a big party for the college's 100th anniversary, and she wants Lin to be a part of it.
