Lin tells us that he has resigned from his position at the company of Mr. Xu Ming, and that he is sorry for what has happened to him. Lin also tells him to stay away from his family matters, and warns him not to tell anyone about the incident. Lin then asks Mr. Xing if he knows that Lin is sick, and he says that he does, and Lin tells him that he will pay for it if he does not leave the matter to someone else. Mr. Xu Ming, who has just entered the film industry, asks Lin if there are any unspoken rules regarding newcomers to the industry. Lin says that there are, but that he doesn't know enough about the industry to know what the rules are. He then asks if there is any unspoken rule for newcomers to get a part in a famous director's movie, and she says that she has foresight to let him come to her to help her give birth to her child. Lin is shocked to learn that Mr. Ming is helping someone, and wonders if he has brought a woman back from the hospital just now.
