Lin tells Ming that he has already broken off their affair. He tells her that if she continues to harass him, he'll tell her parents and then let his wife take care of her. He also tells her to come home and talk to her alone. If she doesn't want to tell everyone about it, he says, then she can quit her job and leave Ming. He then gives her one last chance to leave him if she wants.
