The narrator tells us that he's still in love with the girl he met three years ago. He's bummed out that he can't go to her wedding, but he also knows that they're not going to be able to live together in the same way that they did for Masaki. The narrator says that Masaki and the monster are always falling for each other's company, and he'd like to see what the crime scene looks like for himself.
