This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which we learn that the evil spirit has taken over the world. The evil spirit is responsible for the deaths of many innocent victims, including Alphonse, who has been killed by the "evil spirit" . In this flashback, we learn how the evil spirits creation came to be, and how it was the spirit of the "father" who was responsible for this evil.
