This chapter opens with a soliloquy by Soohyun in which he explains that he is a descendant of the god of the earth and that his duty as a descendant is to protect it from harm. He says that he has no reason to be rude to the woman he just met and that he does not want to be disrespectful to the god who serves him. He asks the woman why she is speaking to him and she tells him that she is mad at him for being rude to her. He tells her that she will come to his senses once she has a taste of his might and that she should stop being so rude to him. The woman asks him if he is siding with her and he tells her to grab him and he will grant her wish. He then tells the woman that he was in a panic when he saw an earthling enter the ship. He feels that everything in the ship is subpar and that they mustnt go against the god and work together to solve the problem. He is angry as well and says that they do not need his help as well as he does. He goes on to say that even the prisoners of the dark planet seem to be doing strange things and that sway sway looks like he has lost himself. He returns to his music and asks the man if he liked his music very much. The man laughs at him and says he should have chosen a better music. He also says that at this point he was wearing a shell he could not bear and that it was even worth it for him to escape from the hell. So why did he meddle in his business, he pathetic bastard?
