Brother Lin and Ling Ling are talking. Ling Ling recognizes Ling Ling as the man who killed the old couple, and he asks Ling Ling if the wind god is also there, but Ling Ling says he can't, because he's been practicing feng-hui for 15 years. Brother Lin says he'll take Ling Ling somewhere, but first he wants to know what's going on with the Old and New Lovers. He asks about the people staying at the hospital, and the elder says that someone he guided and supported himself is dead, because of something he said. He also asks if Ling Ling Ling is the one who's responsible for the deaths of the old and new lovers, and Lin Ling says that's not the case. He says that he was wrong to take part in the deaths, and that he apologizes to Ling Ling for that. He tells Ling Ling to find a time to talk to the old lovers and let them forgive and hate each other. Lin Ling apologizes, saying that he just wanted to use Ling to prove that Lin wasn't the person he became because he was guided, but he was afraid that history would repeat itself.
