About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that De'Long is on his way back to work. He's tired from his day at the office, but he's determined to make it back to the tournament. He tells his friend that he just made up his mind to win the tournament because he remembers his old friend from the carnival. He says that he'll protect scenes 1 and 2 with a mole, and then it'll be over. He also says that his friend is nothing to worry about, because he is nothing but a fan of the wind. He asks his friend if he'd like to watch his live stream of the tournament, and he says yes. Then he asks if he can watch the news of the upcoming press conference. He doesn't want to get caught up in the drama of it all, so he says that whatever he thinks is right, he can do.
