The next morning, Lingzi wakes up to find that her father is angry. He's angry because she's not in control of her emotions. She's worried that he's going to fire her because of her irresponsible behavior. She doesn't know how to get him to calm down, so she tells him to keep the game live and keep it out of the company. She also tells him that he tricked her and the company into giving him the job in the first place. Lingzi says she can't go through with that, because it would be a breach of her contract with the company to do that. The elder tries to calm him down, but Lingzi won't listen. He tells her to push the door, because the whole company is talking about firing her. He also tells her that he killed himself because he was upset that she didn't stop him from taking part in the e-competition. He blames Lingzi for the whole thing. She blames herself for being the one who caused the whole mess.
