In this chapter, we are introduced to zicheng, who has just returned from a night out with a girl. He has ordered a beer with her, and she tells him that he is a "strong rival" . Unsure of what to do with himself, he asks her to practice the game of "swig gulp gulp gulp" with him. He tells her to adjust the angle, raise her hand, and throw the dice randomly. She does so, and he tells her that she is still very far away from the competition venue and that it is dangerous for her to stand too close. He then asks her if she wants to play billiards. She says that she has never played the game before, and that even if she wins, it is "nothing to brag about". He then suggests that they play another round of the game.
