In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "shan lan" . He is the boss of a hot spring resort in Chengdu, China, and he is in love with a young woman named "little veggie" , whom he has just met. The two of them go for a walk, and when they are alone, the young woman asks him what is wrong with him. He tells her that he likes her, that she likes him, and that she is crazy after he has passed out. The young woman is confused, and the boss tries to calm her down by saying that she was just dreaming and dreaming of her ex boyfriend. She apologizes, but the boss says that he was always nervous about talking to her before, and it is a good thing he helped her to recover from her bad condition.
