The King of Netherworld finally has something he wants to protect. He tells his servant that he will never see the woman again. He says that he won't need her to see him again. The lights are on, he says, and he can't figure out why they are on. He's not used to living with a human, but he's going to have to deal with it for the rest of his life. He begs her to wake up, but she refuses to do so. She's so ashamed of herself that she's just going to fall for it. The only way to get rid of her, the King says, is to send her back to the underworld. He promises that he'll take all the punishment for breaking the law and being in love with a woman. He also promises that the human woman will be the last to die.
