About This Chapter
The next morning, Dora wakes up to find that she's been beaten over the head. She can't even remember what happened the night before. She's so upset that she throws herself on the bed and wakes up her daughter, who's already in bed. The two of them have breakfast together, and Dora asks her daughter how she came to be at her house. The girl tells her that she came in just in time, and that she bought some flowers for Dora. Dora's surprised that the girl didn't bring her own food, but she thanks the girl for her kindness. Dora asks the girl if she thinks she is a rabbit, and the girl says that she is. Dora thanks her for the compliment, and then asks if she can teach her how to embroider, since her daughter will teach her. Dora says that's a good idea, since she'll be able to use her embroidery skills to teach her daughter to embroider as well. Dora tells the girl that he's the one who brought her back from college, and she apologizes for being so rude to her. She says that her daughter is going to teach Dora how to sew, too, so Dora invites the girl to join her in the shop. Dora is confused by the whole thing, and wonders if it's true that all of the girls were talking about a man named Juwon. She realizes that Juwon must be the man who brought the girl back to her house, and asks if the girl can whisper to her that it must be Juwon, so that she won't be distracted by the other girls. Dora doesn't understand what's going on, and says that it sounds like Juwon isn't asking for anything, and he'll continue to live this way. Dora
