The narrator falls asleep on the couch and wakes up in the middle of the night. He finds a love letter he has written for her. He tells her that she has been working so hard for him and that it's his fault that she hasn't been good enough. He wants her to read his love fortune, which tells him that she and her lover are "soulmates" and that they will be happily married in the future
