The narrator introduces himself as "Yu lin" . He tells us that he is a swindler and that he has recently been hit by bird poop, a water leak, a power outage, and three sets of new clothes in one day. He asks Miss Lin if she is able to solve his problems. Miss Lin replies that she is not the only one who has experienced problems like this, and that she can assure him that it will remove all of his bad luck. The narrator tells Miss Lin that if the followers of the gods reach 10 million followers, then they will be qualified to graduate from school and become gods. He then tells her that if she refuses his offer, he will force her to erase all of her memories of this incident using a memory erasing device. This is not as serious as he thought it would be, however, since the current technology used by the gods is still in a trial period. If the three gods fail to successfully graduate within a year, the gods will be expelled forever.
