When Asclepius arrives at the hospital, he finds that the doctor has not yet found the cause of Yu Lin's fainting. He wonders if the demon that appeared at the beginning of the chapter was the same one who appeared earlier at home. As he searches for the child, he is surprised to find that the other patients know each other. He tells them that he has come to find out if there is anything he can do to save Yu Lin. He explains that he was injured by the bug that tricked her into going into the forest and that he came to see if he could do anything to help. He says that he will need to find the red spider lily that he retrieved from the underworld in order to create an antidote for the poison that has caused Yu Lin to faint. He promises that if it is for Yu Lin, he will do his best to save her. The other patients are counting on him to save them, but he says he does not know how he will explain to her what happened. He knows that she will wake up and blames it all on himself. He is worried that once she realizes what has happened, she will blame herself for the whole thing.
