He apologizes for his rudeness and says that the " saviors" have been fighting with the "unseen," and that it will only make things worse. He says that it is his fault that they do not fight him because he is the one who controls the rats, and that he will apologize and make things equal. He promises to let her go, but the unseen will come for him.
