About This Chapter
In this short scene, the child narrates the story of his birth. He was born in a prosperous kingdom ruled by his loving father and his fair mother. One day, however, his mother died, leaving him and his father behind. The child tells his father that he has something to tell him. He says that he will be the mother of the child from now on. The prince is poisoned, and the child wonders if the prince can be cured. The first prince is healthy, the second prince vigorous, the third prince genius, the fourth prince gifted in swordsmanship, and so on. He asks his father why he vomited on his face, and he says that the prince is actually the one who bit him. In order to protect himself, he asks to be sent away to another country, where he learns to walk again and write again. He feels that there is something missing in his life between his mother's death and his confrontation with the evil woman. He is ready to confront her, but there is nothing left for him. The evil woman has taken control of the kingdom, but he cannot gather a large army to fight her.
