Dokutoku tries to trick irina into thinking that he's going to kill keith, but she's not having it. She tells him to be careful with the dagger, because it's made out of the Prince's blood, and it won't let anyone else use it. Also, there's a barrier around the machine, which means that no one can touch the dagger without the approval of the prince. This is all to prevent anyone from using the dagger to kill the Prince, and irina doesn't want to be a traitor. She says that if she stabs the Prince with the blood of one person, she'll be able to get home, and stab the other person with the same blood, she can go back to earth. But, if the Prince stabs her with the stone of another person, he'll die, and she'd have to live forever as a princess. She's so confused that she can't sleep. When she wakes up, she finds that the Prince has woken up, and he wants to know what's wrong. He tells her to go have breakfast with him, and when she refuses, he curses her.
