This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 10: THE ARTISTIC LABYRINTH
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with Torte thanking everyone for coming to the party. She's overwhelmed by the amount of food and drink she's had to eat. She tells the audience that she doesn't have her usual armor, which means she can't compete with the other artists in the guild. Torte says that the guild uses art skill as a measure of people's abilities, and that Torte's art skill is higher than everyone else's. She also says that she thinks Tsurukame's skill is better than hers, but that he's just as good as Torte. To be fair, Torte has been working on her art for a long time now, but she still has a long way to go. She says she'll have to draw twice as fast in order to keep up with the rest of the artists. She wants Torte to teach her how to draw double-time instead of cramming so much into her training. She asks if she can sell her art supplies, but Torte is too busy with her training to answer her questions. To make matters worse, she has no money to sell her supplies. To help her out, she tells Torte not to look for her, because she has to go back to her job as a knight.
