Chapter 3 opens with a rant by a young man named Yoelko. He's upset that he's been fired from his job as a Knight of the Round Table, and he wants to know why he hasn't been given more responsibilities. He also wants to complain about the fact that his boss, Annelise, isn't giving him any work to do. She's also not sending him any updates on her work, which is getting more and more popular. He asks if she's in the same room as the other manga artists, and she says that she is, but that she doesn't want to be bothered with him. He tells her that he can't work for them because they're copycats of his own work, and that they'll have to shut him up if his work isn'ta hit. He says that his work has already broken a million dollars in sales, and they've promised to pay for his tab. YoElko says that he needs to check up on Annelis, because she'll give him more trouble if he keeps working for them.
