Hiroto and Enobaraki are on their way back to the game center when they hear a knock at the door. It's from Hiroto's old pal, the doctor. The doctor has found a cure for the plague that wiped out half of humanity in the 14th century, and she's won a Nobel Prize for her work. Hiroto asks the doctor if she'd like to share some of the leftover food from the game with him, and the doctor says she'll do it. The game center is full of people, and Hiroto is bummed out that he doesn't have any tickets left. He tells the doctor that he's hungry, so he'll eat some of their leftover food. The old guy is there, but Hiroto can't find him. He asks the old guy to show him how to play the pinball machine, and he agrees. The two of them exchange tickets for coins.
