In this chapter, the monster confronts Yonussi, the leader of the Volscians. Yonussi accuses Yonussi of siding with the "old versions" of the human race, even though they have reached a point in time where evolution can no longer be halted. He tells Yonussi that humans must evolve, sooner or later, and that no one can stop it. The two men part, and Yonussi laments the fact that he has lost interest in Yonussi. He compares Yonussi to a "snoop fit" and says that he can "smash fit you monsters" and "swallow splash hey" so he can control human pillars now. He says that with all the infected brain matter, he can cure "rikkun" and that he will be right back.
