Hiroshi and Neumann are on their way to the tunnel when they run into their mother and father, who are trapped in the tunnel. Hiroshi tells Neumann to get his ass into gear and not to touch the oxygen tanks as hard as he can. He tells his mother that he feels like he's going to puke and that they're about to run into a car crash. They decide to turn back to avoid the car crash, but they can't because the tunnel is full of carbon monoxide, which is a very bad sign. They're going to suffocate before they get out of the tunnel, they say, and if they turn back now, they'll have to die before they can get out. Neumann tries to calm them down, telling them to mutter sorry and mutter what they've been trying to say, but the two are too scared to do so. They run into the trunk of the car, and Hiroshi slaps his mother on the shoulder and tells her to keep her hands off him.
