In the well of a hotel in the Russian town of Murmansk, Dogby wonders if he's really with Milady. He's moved farther away from her than he would like to be. He tells her that he used to be a member of the leader's militia, and that he showed the people a way out of the system so that they wouldn't starve. Now, he tells her, the leader is using the militia to threaten the people. He wants to bring down the leader and his men, and return the town to the way it was before he took over. He asks Dogby to help him do it.
