The next morning, Jane arrives at King's office to find that she has been kidnapped and will be returning home in a few days. She tells King that she is very happy to see him, and he is very excited to see her. He tells her that he is going to prepare a soap opera for the new year, and that he will be accompanying her. Jane tells him that her mother is still trying to get over her feelings for him, but that she will soon be able to do so. He apologizes for venting his anger to her, and says that he has been going to the brothel everyday since then. He promises to learn to control his anger, and to speak up for himself.
