In this short scene, we get a brief glimpse of what it's like to be the lead in a soap opera. It's the morning of the big reveal, and we're introduced to our new love interest, Jane. She's all, "I love you" and "I'll be your girlfriend" and so on. Jane's not so sure about this one, but she's got a plan. She wants to go to a fancy restaurant and treat Jane to some street-food. Jane says she'll go first, but since she hasn't said anything, she doesn't want to tell Jane anything. Jane tells us that she was waiting for Jane to tell her something, but now that she wants to treat her, she won't tell her anything. She says that she knows Jane is going to get the role, and that she'd been waiting all night for her to say something. She tells Jane to stop acting like she cares about her, and to stop getting herself worked up. Jane promises to be more careful, and says that her manager told her that she would get some money the next day. Jane introduces her new assistant, who is her future wife.
