Jane comes out of her room and tells the Governess that she's late for her audition. The Governess tells her that she usually leaves at dawn when she applies for an audition so that she can get her mind off her nerves and concentrate on the task at hand. Jane says that she woke up early to give her the box of fruits that she gave her the day before, but she got angry and left the room. Jane tells her not to worry, because she'll be back in a few hours. Jane asks if she can have a ride back to the place where the audition is taking place, but he refuses, saying that he's just going to cross the street by himself.
