About This Chapter
The narrator is in the middle of a lecture when he realizes that he's going to meet Yeallum for the first time in two days. He's worried about what he did wrong, and decides to take a break from the lecture to talk to the guy. The narrator doesn't want to be the center of attention, so he decides to go first after the lecture. He tells the guy to be brave, since he'll have to kiss the guy after the class is over. The guy goes first, and the narrator is all, "Thanks for your efforts, yeoreum." The narrator tells him to stop lying, and to stop talking about his new identity in college. He also tells the kid to stop telling lies about his brother, and stop pretending that the kiss was all a lie. He asks the kid if he'd eaten something wrong, if he had a face like that, and if he has changed his name. The kid says no way, and asks the
