He says that he has to distance himself from the world and rid himself of carnal desires. He tells the narrator that Natsume needs someone like him to win her over, and he promises to do so. The narrator asks the narrator if he has a fever, and the narrator says he doesn't think he has one. He also asks about the sports festival that is coming up in a few days, and wonders if he will be able to stay at his place tonight. He asks if he can sleep next to her, and she says she can't sleep in the same room as him. She says she wants to scream, but he says she's too cute to scream. He wants to hold her in his arms, but she won't let him do it. She tells him that she heard something weird, and that it sounded like control. She asks him if he heard something like a coupon for ramen, fried rice, and "gyoza set," and he says he heard it, too, but didn't know what it was. He promises to join the fight against "wicked fiends."
