The chapter opens with a conversation between Soumya and her brother, Natsume. The two of them are having lunch together in the cafeteria, and they are interrupted by the arrival of a new guest. Nat's mother and father are both at work, and so they are unable to attend to their son alone. Nat asks his brother to go home with him, but he is unable to do so because he is the guest of the company. He asks Nat to have a duel with him.
