The three-legged crow, the wolf, the fox, the tanuki, and the cat all show up at the school to watch the athletic meet. The wolf says that he's come to check out the athletic competition. He's not scared of the girl, he says, because she's "not thing" trying to "hurt us" . The cat says that paper work is done at town hall, and he wonders if it's because of the "hypnosis" that's been taking place there. The town official says that they're not taking over the town from the outside, but that they want to keep an eye on what's going on inside. He says that the race will be held at gate two of the school, and that all the participants will have to assemble at gate one. The crow asks what the race is all about. He asks what happened between gami and the wolf. The two of them talk about how the wolf is like a "gangster" , and how they can't be friends without each other. The wind is blowing, and they'll be arriving soon.
