The next morning, Hirokazu finds himself in the middle of a crowd of people. He's worried that they've heard of his latest invention, a smart phone, and that he's going to have to go back to the factory to get it. He can't believe they're still in the crowd, and he wonders why the seats are so good. A friend gave him a day's pass to the place, but he couldn't get there today. He wonders why they were so good seats, and wonders why he'll have to leave them by himself. He also wonders where the lead wires are, and how he can find his way to hanazono. He sees that she's looking at him with her eyes, and decides to protect her. He doesn't want to kill her with these eyes, he says, because he can see her clearly in the dark. He wants to kill them all with his "vivid method" of killing them all. He asks them to shake their heads and shake his hand, because his method is going to put the finishing touches on their murders. He tells them that he has no problem killing innocent people, because they'll be under the control of those suffering from "selective amnesia" .
