The monster tells the girl that he's been having a tough time lately, and that he doesn't want her to believe that he has been defeated. He tells her that the enemy taught him that, and he didn't believe him because he was afraid that the ally would be a criminal. The monster says that he and the girl have passed each other and that they can follow each other's lead. The girl says that the two of them can do that, but the monster says he can't because they're too far apart in grade. He wants to kill her, he says, but he knows that he won't be able to do it because he has a brain and body that can process all the information in his head. He asks the girl if she would forgive him if he were to betray her, and she says that she would.
