The narrator tells Haruki that he is going to be transferred overseas, and he asks him when he will be able to see him. Haruki says he is shocked, and the narrator tells him that he has been promoted to a major project in Singapore. The narrator says that he will not be lonely, and that he wants to see Haruki's new home. He invites Haruki to come inside and show him the annex that Haruki has reserved for him. He says that the cherry blossom season is in full bloom, and they should take some time to watch the blossoms together. He tells her that she is so strong that she will be there before he knows it, and she tells him to take care of himself.
