In this chapter, we learn the story of the lost princess Anemone, who was kidnapped by pirates during the invasion of the kingdom of Lyronaz. The princess's name was Ani, and she lived a normal life on earth until the news of her kidnapping spread to the world. While Ani was being trained to use her magic, she heard that the pirates were advancing towards her kingdom. Ani was shocked to learn that her kidnapper was her old long lost brother, Hector Lawkin, who had been kidnapped during the pirates' invasion. Hector had been the one who had kidnapped Ani and had brought her to live with him and his new family. Ani is upset that her brother is not in the orphanage, but she begs him to take her and her family with him.
