In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in previous chapters. The first person introduced in this chapter is a young man who has been wounded in battle. He is a lance-shaped man, and he tells his companions that he has been injured in the battle and that he will not let them kill him. He tells them to make a shape of a lance, and then he tells them that he is going to haunt them forever. He says that they cannot kill him, and that they must come back and kill him if they want him to live. The young man asks if he has to come back, and they tell him that they have covered the entire area. He asks if they have found a monster in the midst of the battle. They tell him they have, and the young man says that if he is not captured, he is. The men tell him to stand by and watch for further orders. They say that the whole area has been covered and that all the blindfolds have been found. They also say that they are going to investigate the surrounding buildings.
