In this chapter, we learn more about Dr. Bledsoe's role in the massacre of the Ines. We learn that he was one of the few people who survived the massacre, and that he is still alive and well. We also learn that the captain of the expedition has been sent to the Red-Zum territory to keep an eye on the area.
