"The naughty love way" is the title of this chapter, and it's a reference to the way in which Mr. Akihisa flirts with Mr. Mashiro. The narrator tells us that this is the way he's always done it, even if he doesn't want to admit it. He says that he can't tell you why, but he can tell you that he loves you, and that's why he wants to protect you.
