This chapter opens with the narrator's declaration that he's going to "have me for cunning tonight , sweet and racy sex" . He's been looking for the guy who cheated him out of his inheritance, and he finally finds him at his current address. He tells us that he finally found him because he was the one who ran away with the money without paying it back. The narrator asks the guy if he'd like anything to drink, and the guy says that he would like to "dump nothing at all" , which means that they've already done the same thing in the middle of the night before. The two of them kiss, and then the narrator tells the guy that his "body is on its own" and that he can't be satisfied with what he just did.
