The next morning, Mizutani wakes up in the middle of the night. He's been up all night worrying about what's going to happen to his mistress. He doesn't want her to know that he's worried about her. He wants her to be sure that she's not sleeping with anyone else. He also wants to make sure she knows that he loves her, too.
