About This Chapter
"An Airhead Novel" The narrator laments the fact that he has been left alone by his lover, who has fallen in love with him. He tells the narrator that his feelings for the man are completely different than they would have been if he had left him on his own. The narrator tells him that his actions are "more dangerous" than he thinks, and that he should think more about the safety of his own body. He asks the narrator if he will stop hooking up with other men once he has learned the lesson, and the narrator responds that he will only stop once he's "learned the hard way." The narrator asks if he sent him a message saying that he wanted to be friends, and he replies that he did. He says that he is worried about her as a friend, and asks her to stop following men she doesn't know. He apologizes too, but says he is "minding being heading home." He says he will "properly" become his friend once he "has come to terms" with the situation, and then he will be able to "ly become" her friend. He adds that he loves her too, and says that she is using her scent to "turn shy." He tells her that he was surprised that she was shy because they spent so much time together, but he says that after living together, he found it "fun." He wants to "be real lovers."
